Garkuon CHPS Handed Over
On 31st December 2025, HiChale handed over the Garkuon CHPS Facility in the Sawla Tuna Kalba District, completing a GHS 1 million solar-powered health project serving over 3,000 people across seven communities. The facility strengthens maternal and child healthcare and reduces the long distances previously travelled to access essential services.

HiChale Resumes Activities After Conflict Break
As part of our regular quarterly programme, HiChale distributed food items and modest cash support to 20 vulnerable residents in Kalba during the Christmas season as activities resumed. The initiative underscores our ongoing commitment to dignity, compassion, and community resilience.

Peace Keeping Support
In response to the recent security situation in Kalba, HiChale provided temporary accommodation support to police officers using our office space to facilitate peacekeeping operations in the area. This gesture reflects our continued commitment to community stability, collaboration with authorities, and the protection of vulnerable residents.

Garkuon CHPS Construction Begins
The sod has been officially cut for the Garkuon CHPS Compound, financed by Schmitz-Stiftung , marking the start of improved access to quality primary healthcare for over 3000 people in 7 communities.

Ambassador Commissions Project
H.E. Daniel Krull of the German Embassy personally joined the commissioning of the Funsi Women Irrigation Project in Wa East District. The project benefits 40 women in dry season vegetable production using solar energy.
